It’s what led to Adam eating the apple, and rebellion is a constant Biblical theme. This usurpation of God’s authority isn’t new. This worldwide cult, be it in the form of QAnon, MAGA, or the Christian Identity/Christian Nationalist political movements (and those like them), has abandoned the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit, and daily come up with insane and depraved theories. They have usurped the prerogative of God Almighty, judgement of what is righteous, and God has confused them, as He warns He will throughout Scripture. They judge people for their sins, for their skin colour, for where they were born, and for so many other things.

Unfortunately, a dark cult with many heads has blinded a great many who claim to believe, but do not work by faith. Those who are not yet saved will witness this, and they will know we are Christians by our love. Those who are saved are exhorted to resist sin by accepting the grace of God awaiting them, if they take that first step of faith, as when Israel crossed the Jordan. We can also witness to those whom as yet have not been saved, and carry out our important work of spreading the Gospel, healing the sick, feeding the poor, clothing the naked, and praying, again in faith, for all people. We are free to love, and like, and build relationships with people who receive the Word of God gladly.
